Michele Pierson, Chief Financial Officer

Michele Pierson, a native New Yorker, spent the first half of her working career in the Big Apple.  Over a period of 20 years she advanced through various administrative and management positions working in the legal and financial world.  As a single mother raising a son and daughter, she returned to school to further her education in accounting and business management. In the early 1980’s Pierson managed an administrative staff in the exciting world of Wall Street for Touche Ross’s newly established Wall Street office.

In 1985, Pierson made a “quality of life” decision to leave the fast-paced world of Manhattan behind and in a decision for which there have been no regrets, relocated to Tampa with her teenage children.  Once established in Tampa, Pierson worked with a local real estate developer with ties to the Tampa Bay Rowdies, serving first as Regional Property Manager and then promoted to Controller. It was during this period she met Peter Anderson and Winston DuBose.

In 1997, Pierson enthusiastically leaped at the opportunity offered by Peter Anderson to join himself and colleagues Winston DuBose and Frank Mann in establishing Bayshore Technologies, Inc.   Excited by the prospect of being charged with designing operational and accounting procedures from ground zero, Pierson has been gratified to watch Bayshore develop from “just a pencil and paper, and gleam in the eyes of its founders” to a financially sound corporation with annual revenues exceeding $16M and a long list of satisfied customer relationships.
